3.4. You may enter the Contest as many times as you like, but, subject to clause 5.2 below, you can only win one prize.
4.1 Scoring in the Game is based on the player's ability to build a tower by successfully placing blocks. The Game progresses through three distinct eras in the following order: Google, Pixel, and Gemini. Points are awarded based on the precision of placement and the type of block placed. A player's final score is the cumulative total of all points earned from successful placements, including any multipliers.
a) Placement and Scoring: Players earn points by placing blocks on top of each other. There are two ways to score from a placement:
i) Perfect Placement: Placing a block placed perfectly central on your existing tower of blocks. This action earns the player the full points value for that block type.
ii) Standard Placement: Placing a block that is not perfectly aligned but still lands successfully on the tower. This action earns the player a portion of the total possible points for that block type.
b) Block Types: The number of points you earn per block is based on what type of block you place onto the tower.
i) Standard Blocks: Award 1 point for a standard placement and 2 points for a perfect placement.
ii) Gift Blocks: Appear after every 27 successfully placed blocks. They award 10 points for a standard placement and 20 points for a perfect placement.
iii) Powerup Blocks: Appear twice at random within each of the Pixel and Gemini eras. They award points equivalent to a Standard Block and activate one of the following effects:
1) ‘Add Me’ Blocks: Causes the next block to be a Gift Block.
2) ‘Best Take’ Blocks: Causes the next five (5) blocks to be placed perfectly automatically, regardless of the player's timing. The player must still tap to initiate the placement of each block.
c) Score Multiplier (Gemini Era only): During the Gemini era, players can activate a 2x score multiplier by achieving ten (10) consecutive perfect placements. This multiplier will remain active for the next ten (10) blocks placed.
d) Unsuccessful Placement: If a player does not successfully place a block on the tower, they will not earn any points for that attempt.
4.2 Score Submission
a) After successfully completing a Game for the first time during the Contest Period, players will be prompted to enter their email address to be able to submit their score as an entry for the Contest.
b) Subsequent game plays within the same session on the same browser and device will automatically record the new high score if it's higher than the previous one, without requiring another email submission.
